30-Day Gospel Reading Plan

Spend one month walking through the life, teaching, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Each day includes a theme and a brief commentary to guide reflection. Read the passage first, note what it reveals about Christ, and end with prayer.

  1. Luke 1God prepares the way

God begins fulfilling His promises through the births announced to Zechariah and Mary. Mary's faithful response points us to Jesus, the promised Son and everlasting King.

Key lesson: Trust God's promises and respond to His call with humble faith.

  2. Luke 2The Savior is born

Key lesson: Resist temptation with God's Word and answer Christ's call to follow.

  4. John 1The Word became flesh

Key lesson: Let Christ transform both your conduct and the motives of your heart.

  7. Matthew 6The Father who sees

True devotion seeks God's approval rather than human praise. Jesus teaches His followers to pray, trust the Father's provision, and seek first God's kingdom and righteousness.

Key lesson: Seek God's kingdom first and trust your Father with daily needs.

  8. Matthew 7Hear and obey

Jesus calls for humble judgment, persistent prayer, and discernment. The wise life is built not merely on hearing His words, but on putting them into practice.

Key lesson: Build your life on Christ's teaching by practicing what He says.

  9. John 3-4New birth and living water

Jesus tells Nicodemus that entrance into God's kingdom requires birth by the Spirit. He offers the Samaritan woman living water and reveals salvation that reaches beyond social and ethnic barriers.

Key lesson: Spiritual life is God's gift, received through faith in Christ.

  10. Luke 7Faith, compassion, and forgiveness

Key lesson: Receive God's Word deeply and value His kingdom above everything else.

  13. John 6The Bread of Life

Key lesson: Seek Jesus Himself, not merely the temporary benefits He can provide.

  14. Luke 10Love God and neighbor
